WONDERING WHAT THE CPS CLOSURE MEANS FOR STAGES? WE'RE TAKING A PAGE OUT OF UNIVERSITY PLAYBOOKS...
What a week it’s been! We know you’re as eager as we are to keep everyone safe through this crisis while also finding ways to give your family a sense of normalcy in these crazy times. As many of you know by now, CPS is set to close next Tuesday. Rather than cancel classes for the remainder of the Winter Semester, we’re taking a page from University playbooks and moving our classes online!
Starting Monday, March 16 Stages will be virtual!
For as long as CPS is closed, we will be live streaming classes for currently enrolled families using Zoom as well as providing an array of content everyday, including prerecorded classes you can access 24/7, character storytimes and sing-a-longs, and so much more.
WELCOME TO BREAKING DOWN THE MAT!
To help make your experience at home as close to the real deal as possible, we Have decided a new Blog called “Breaking Down the Mat” where you can find out what toys will be used in upcoming classes (with links to purchase them on Amazon) as well as recommendations for items you can use that you already have laying around the house. We’ll al be using the blog to share some of our favorite process art activities, book recommendations, and other fun ways to keep your little ones engaged.
WORRIED ABOUT SCREENTIME?
Don’t worry. We plan on sending currently enrolled families our favorite songs from the mat recorded by your favorite teachers in addition to curating Spotify playlists to help you dance through your days at home. We will also be providing daily activity ideas for you and your little one on our “Breaking Down the Mat” Blog!
We are monitoring the situation closely and are committed to moving classes back onsite as soon as CPS re-opens.
Stay healthy and we can’t wait to see you all online next week!
Emily
